InPanic

She’s Indian. He’s Hispanic. Their kids think they’re white. Cue the grandmas.

InPanic follows Ari and Nico, a half-Indian, half-Hispanic couple raising two kids in a suburban Bay Area home with a white picket fence and a 30-year mortgage. They spent their childhoods scrubbing the brown off their identities, but panic when their boys turn out more gringo than chicken breast and whole milk.

In an effort to pass down some culture, they begrudgingly invite both their mothers to move in. Enter two septuagenarian grandmas armed with a pint of Fernet, a vat of cumin, and zero self-awareness.

It’s like Blackish, but brownish. Like Modern Family, but modern. Like Never Have I Ever, but two decades later.
